Frequently Asked Questions

Which paper sizes are available?
A3, A4, A5, Letter, Legal and Tabloid / 11×17, plus an option to keep the current size. Custom dimensions and an orientation switch are not provided.
How do Fit, Fill and Stretch differ?
Fit keeps all page content within the new size; Fill fills the page and can crop edges; Stretch changes the proportions to match the new size.
What does the resolution setting change?
It resamples embedded images using the selected 72, 150 or 300 DPI preset. It does not turn each entire page into an image. The high and high+ presets use different image quality settings.
Does “Keep unchanged” skip processing?
It keeps the page dimensions. Embedded images are still processed at the selected resolution; the default is the low 72 DPI preset.
Will resizing always make the file smaller?
No. The final size depends on the source and settings. Lower resolution can reduce image detail, so keep the original if you need it later.
Are several PDFs merged?
No. Each source produces its own resized PDF. Download them individually or together as a ZIP; processing happens locally in your browser.
Is this PDF tool completely free?
Yes. Processing and downloading results are completely free. Keep an original copy for future work.
