Questions About the PDF Tools

Which tool should I use to save PDF images?
Use PDF to JPG, PDF to PNG or PDF to Image to render whole pages as images. Extract Images from PDF saves images embedded inside the document instead.
Can I work with several documents at once?
Many tools accept multiple files. Each tool defines whether it merges the sources, creates separate results or offers a ZIP download. Single-document editors such as comments, cropping and redaction work with one PDF at a time.
Are my documents uploaded for processing?
PDF processing runs locally in your browser. A tool may load its processing engine when needed, while the document itself stays on your device.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
Supported tools request the correct password. Unlock PDF also requires the password; it does not recover an unknown one. Saved copies do not automatically retain source password protection.
What is the difference between comments and redaction?
Comments add editable sticky notes. Redaction removes content in the regions you mark. Use metadata tools to edit or clear document information separately.
Does compression guarantee a smaller file?
No. Results depend on the source and chosen preset. Keep your original and check the downloaded copy, especially when the operation resamples images or changes page content.
